Module 0 — Course Overview

This training introduces Iyawo, priests, and priestesses to the sacred art of Merindilogun “20-4” (Sixteen Cowrie Shell Divination). The modules build discipline, competence, confidence, and spiritual clarity through structure and daily practice.

Module 1 — Daily Casting Foundations

• Cast 16 times daily for 16 consecutive days.
• Log date, count, seniority, Orisha, 3-word summary.
• Develop consistency + energy attunement.

Module 2 — Seniority Determination

• Cast twice to compare seniority.
• Senior = (+); Junior = (–).
• Foundation for Ire vs. Ibi discernment.

Module 3 — Distinguishing Ire vs Ibi

• Create Elder and Junior Odu pairs.
• Elder senior ? Ire.
• Junior dominant ? Ibi.

Module 4 — Dot Marking System

• Mark first pair as Ire/Ibi based on second pair.
• Use dot notation: single or double dots.

Module 5 — Sources of Ire/Ibi (Igbo Method)

• Final cast: Igbo-Ire on up-cowries, Igbo-Ibi on down-cowries.
• If Ibi: check Iku (death), Ofo (loss), Ija (conflict), Oran (legal trouble).
• If Ire: check Aiku (longevity), Aje (prosperity), Rin (relationships), Omo (children).

Module 6 — Course Flow

• Zoom instruction + workbook + audio files.
• 8–10 week foundation track.
• Weekly log submissions for review.
• Certificate upon practicum completion.

Module 7 — Policies

• Open to Iyawo and sincere seekers.
• Maintain confidentiality and cultural respect.
• Divination is sacred work — uphold SGI ethics.
